The Vortex Fury HD5000 10×42 is a pair of binoculars with a rangefinder, which is very suitable for hunters and (sport) shooters. The binoculars are lightweight and can be operated by hand, which makes them very useful for this kind of purpose. The binoculars have a range of up to 1,450 meters for deer sized objects. In addition, the Fury HD 5000 has state-of-the-art technology HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) and LOS (Line of Sight). The HCD compensates for the angle of an incline or descent to show the distance to the target. This provides, for example, rifle and bow hunters with the information needed to compensate the angle when making an accurate distance determination of the shot. This allows you to take measurements in mountainous areas. The Line of Sight, on the other hand, indicates the direct, actual distance to the object in question and does not take any angles into account.
For high reliability, the Fury HD5000 is equipped with various coatings. For example, the lenses have an XR lens coating for optimal light transmission and also have a multi-coating that protects against scratches, oil and other dirt. The rubber armour casing ensures a firm grip. The binoculars are fully sealed with O-rings and filled with nitrogen gas, making them resistant to all weather conditions.Because of the twist-up eyepiece caps, the binoculars can be used by both spectacle wearers and non-spectacle wearers.
Application Vortex Fury HD 5000:
To use the Vortex Fury HD 5000, insert the supplied battery into the compartment. Then start the binoculars by clicking on the measure button. While measuring, you determine the unit of measure (yards or meters) and you can also determine the brightness of the displayed image. Using a binocular tripod adapter (not included), you can optionally place the binoculars on a tripod.
